Not many people can claim in their own lifetime that they created an entirely new art movement. D here, can. He created 'Daubism';

"the act of over-painting, or more generally, the re-using and recycling of originals... which does not intend to ridicule or "deface" the original (although the appearance of the original might change in the process), or tarnish the honour and reputation of the author of the original".

If that doesn't make sense, it's when you paint over someone else's painting, adding in elements and/or changing the piece. But reading some more on it I learned it also applies to modifications to sculptures, or any piece of art to suit your purposes or intent. Interesting stuff. Legend in his own lifetime.
