Yet another couple in my group of friends is doin the dash down the aisle this weekend. I dunno, I'm not convinced on the need for marriage in modern society – and the whole pomp, expense and stress that can come with it all? Jeeze, it's a wonder the tradition continues at all! Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for having a fuck-off big party, of getting that rousing endorsement from friends, family and peers, and generally celebrating a committment, celebrating people's lives, but the institution of marriage, the 'perfect day', the single-use dress? Come on?!

But hey, I'm not one to turn down an open bar! Thanks J&K, I think it'll be so awesome you should do it every year. (This is not J&K, this is C&A.)
