Waste Solvent
After I'd visited The Car Plant and posted a shot or two, J (who'd previously seen the place in full swing) commented to me (IRL) something along the lines of "it's fairly colourful in there". I didn't think much of it at the time, but looking back on the shots now I think she's got a point; I think the place is colourful to fresh eyes. At first the various OH&S 'safety' markings would be self-evident, but seeing them day-in and day-out – you'd become numb to them. And perhaps blind to them – literally.
And then there's the other colours and markings evident to non-industrialised people like her and I, eg dripping rust stains on the wall in this shot. A toxic desert rose. God I could go back and spend a day on just the small incidentals in the place, let alone more on macro stuff!
