I've been wanting to try out my macro plus extension tubes on some bugs to see just how close I can get, see how much I can fill the frame with them. So when I found this fuckin huge moth 'resting' in the driveway I scooped it up and popped it in the lightbox. How close can I get? About this close. Close enough so that when I was processing the image and H glanced at it from across the room she exclaimed "Oh my god!" and ran away.

Resting bugs are so much easier to work with. Never work with animals and children they say. Easy solution people, just don't work with the live ones.
