Despite appearances, I'm not much of a flower person. At least, not in the naming category. Beyond a Dahlia or a Calalily I'm stumped.

Nah, outdoors actually. At the Botanic Gardens, in the middle of some waist-high flower patch (which might explain the dark shadows).

Great macro, are you canon or nikon user? May I know what macro lens you use to shoot these stuffs as I’m thinking of getting one!?
Oh I’m definitely a Canon fan, very much so. And sure, the lens is a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM (product page here). Well worth it, both because all the user-reviews rave about it, and because it’s a non-EFS lens – meaning it’ll still be a fantastic lens on a full-frame camera, when I make the move in a few years!
