My friend J_2 picked up a 450D last week, so we've been chatting about cameras, settings, lenses and all the rest. He's pretty interested in exploring macro stuff, which is good timing what with my new baby n all (like I know what I'm doing with it yet!). So once I got my lightbox finished this evening I glanced around for a good subject and fell upon this, the watch I got for my 21st birthday. Which was ideal, considering J_2's got a bit of a watch fetish! (I'm sure he likes 21 yr olds too, but I hear his wife limits that moist luxury to the bottled variety.)

So J_2, this one's for you. Bet you're drooling over the 100mm macro now eh?! But hey, I'm sure we can arrange visitation privilages ... provided you bring the right beer!
