White Heron in River

This is the same ~~white heron~~ white-faced heron as a few months back, but taken while he was still in the river. His head is a little blurry which bothers me, but over-all I quite like the shot. Still love those feathers on it's back, beautiful whispy plumage.

Hiya

No, I still think it’s a white-faced heron. (I did mistakenly call it a white-heron!)

The great blue heron has “black plumes running from just above the eye to the back of the head” which my guy doesn’t have, and it doesn’t seem to be down here in Australia.

The white-faced heron looks more like the one in my shot
