I came across a bit of an intertesting post and subsequent discussion on one of my feeds the other day, McAWilliams Photoblog Photoblogs and comments post mentions how photoblogs generally get fewer comments than your more standard 'word' blogs. Various people weigh in with their explanations and ironically it's become McAWilliams' most commented post in three years!

Funnily enough I noticed a spike in comments and visitors here following my contribution there, plus it spurred me to post a few comments on other photoblogs too. Guess awareness is half the battle eh?!

And what's that got to do with this shot? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Which funnily enough goes completely against the majority of McAWilliams' replies, which suggest you should write about your photo, give some interesting background to the scene. Oh well, I never really was one to follow all the rules! At least, not all the time!
