I like reptiles, but never had one as a pet. I think it's because they don't do much apart from bask under their heat-lamp, and some only need to eat every few days (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here) which I find problematic because I like to know my pets are happy or content, and basking seems rather lacking in stimulus - I'd be worried they'd be bored senseless!

Wow, that is a great photo! Lovely sharp detail around the head, and you got the background perfect too, to match the colour of the scales.

A friend has a reptile and yes, he just sits there all day AFAIK. Can’t see the point of ‘em meself. Can’t really bring them out for a walk then can you?

It can be boring for them, thats why i started training them to do some shopping, get the mail and so forth. Now they dont feel like they want back to its old life again.
No seriously.. :D
I teached them to follow their name, it took some years, but now they react only when their name is mentioned. And that is so cool. So i can just say their name and voila, they come and say hello. Isnt that awesome for a reptile :)
