Sketchy Gallery
This state is called the festival state, with good reason - there tends to be a lot of festivals. Greek, Italian, gay, comedy, art, guitar, motor racing, but to name a few! For a bit of a small town it does have it's moments.
Yesterday was the launch of 'The Festival' and the main opening night attraction was "The Northern Lights", where through some pretty nifty 'architectual projection' "the city’s historic architectural icons will be painted with light and coloured with life". Sounds a bit wanky eh? But it was some pretty impressive stuff, and while I patiently photographed each changing facade I heard lots of people ohhh and ahhh at it all. And it was certainly a photographer's delight - I've never seen so many tripods in one evening!
So first off is The Art Gallery, which aside from a bump in contrast is right out of the camera!
