For Your Safety

With so many cameras pointing down on us these days I sometimes wonder who's watching the watchers? I don't like the idea of big brother monitoring my movements under the pretence of it being 'for my own safety' without there being some publicly transparent checks and balances in place. Without that the whole thing sounds too much like Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty-Four" for my liking.
