I was catching up on some of my news feeds over the weekend and came across the NY Type Tour on Hoefler & Frere-Jones' typography.com feed. Groovy stuff, it inspired me to go out and track down some 'found type' for myself. Only trouble is, I'm not a type (history) guru so I can't identify specific pieces as being of significant interest! Oh well.

This plaque is on one of the KW Bridge pillars. Another instance of "they don't make 'em like they used to!"
