Best of 2007

The looming end of year always brings out the 'best-of' or 'top ten' lists, which make me think news must be a bit thin on the ground to make such rehashing of old news 'interesting'! Of course, the lists are inevitably a boring pile of shit; iPhone this, blockbuster-movie that, political blah-blah - YAWN!

Not to be out-done by such blatantly lazy publishing I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon, toot my own horn a bit and put together my own 'Best of 2007' posts (dunno why I've never done this before!) so here's a biased opinion of my best shot from each month. And again I've linked each thumbnail to its full post, so click around at will. (Not sure whether it'll work for feed readers, so click over to Detour proper if all else fails.)

Course, if anyone wants to nominate other shots they prefer, feel free to let me know in the comments.

And if I had to nominate one shot as my singular BEST/favourite of the year, without doubt it'd be Swan Lake - that shot still amazes me!

Hope everyone's 2007 worked out okay for them. Here's to 2008 - bigger, better, more beautiful! Happy fuckin new year people!
