Lost Street

This is the street I mentioned last week, the street I did and didn't know existed. It's always strange to find something new in a city where you thought you'd seen it all before.

I sometimes find it difficult to not only take shots like this, but to be happy with shots like this because they don't have an obvious subject. That said, one thing I really love about other peoples' photoblogs is seeing their world, especially the ordinary parts of their world, regardless of whether it's a shot of a beautiful scene/subject or not. So every now and again I try to take a simple shot like this, a shot of how I see the world - but I'm one fussy phlogger so more often than not the result doesn't meet my standards. It's a quandary I face often.
