Bah Humbug 3

I've taken shots of the city tree nicely lit up for the last two years, so this year I thought I'd go for a day shot. I'd envisioned trying the manual-montage of snapshots technique but when I went to assemble it I remembered just how much work it is and how much it annoys me when things don't line up nicely!

So I resorted to the Photoshop 'photomerge' action and a happy compromised between my original idea and a polished photomerge, by not cropping out the blank bits. I kinda like the curvature of the edges.

Anyway, enjoy the krapmas spirits - fuck knows I will, I'm makin' mine a double!

Bah humbug.

To the casual viewers I should perhaps preface these next comments with my response to Wasted Photos line “So.. leave a comment on the old photo … or one on the new photo … or both… I don’t mind. Comments make me feel love. Love through the interweb.”

To which I said “I’ll leave a comment on yours expressing undying love if you leave a comment on mine? But I bet you’re not up for anon undying love comments. Through the interweb or otherwise. You’re harsh that way.”

Undying love eh? I dont think I’m up for anon undying love comments in the guy-on-guy fashion — unless of course you’re she-alex … that’s something else completely… haha .. happy holidays and that what not.

PHEW! Yeah, wasn’t so much into the guy on guy action myself but for the sake of one extra comment it’s amazing what we phloggers will do for validation!

Sorry no undying love here either - but a merry bah-humbug for sure. Is the checkerboard transparency really the best option here? OMG! Criticism - oh well have some love then to make up for it :)

Hmmm, I tried black and also grey, but then decided to give the Photoshop look a try in order to emphasise the uncropped feature of the shot.
