Further down the mall from the Mall's Balls they've done a sand sculpture again. They did one last year but I never got around to stopping by and grabbing a shot.

Supposedly there's 40 tonnes of fine quarry sand there, and four international World Champion Sculptors worked for 240 hours on it. The info on the thing says it can last two days of rain, and general weather elements for a lot longer. Something about a biodegradable spray that they put on the outside of the sand to make it rock hard. I think I get spam about that stuff, nasal sprays to make me hard. But anyway.
