First things first. Sorry bout not updating for a few days, H and I went on a sudden road trip so I was offline for the weekend. I was already a few days behind before we left and now I'm a good week out of date so I think I'll let those days go and use the new material starting today - so stay tuned.

We clocked up about 1,650km in just over two days, which was tiring but worthwhile to see a friend I hadn't seen in years. And getting out of town for a bit was good too.

This is on the way back, H was driving and we were screaming along like the proverbial bat out of hell. I was aiming at getting a blurry shot of the road speeding towards us in the headlights, but the trees were more back-lit than I expected and suddenly appeared as eerie blurry things almost reaching out to us. Made me think of the Dementors from Harry Potter.

(I can't believe I just made a Harry Potter reference! H will be proud!)
