I wish I had a better pic of this little guy, but the rest were blurry so this will have to do. I'm not at all sure what he is, some kind of water rat I guess. He had spiny little hind toes that looked like they were webbed, and he happily zipped from one little muddy island to the next with his soggy bread-crumb. Anyone want to help me out here?
Update:: Yeah, bit of Google searching says it's a water rat, or more properly a Rakali - so named to remove the negative connotations of 'rat' and to foster appreciation of it as a native animal. I love the innernet!
