Cat Eyes

I've always been a cat person, just always had an affinity. Maybe I was one in a previous life, maybe I'll be one in the next. Dogs and I just don't click, but cats ... we get one and other.

Dog people say dogs love you unconditionally, they want to be with you and please you. You are the master and they are the servant - always eager to serve.

Cats... completely different story. They'll love you alright, but only on their terms (usually related to the quality and frequency of food and litter). They don't mind your company but it's really not essential thank you very much, and please don't mess the fur I just spent all day cleaning! - They are without doubt the master, and you are but staff. In their eyes at least.

To each their own I say. You can have your slobbering dog that is the quintessential 'Yes man'. I'll be over here with Josie, a self-satisfied smile beneath nearly-closed eyes barely concealing the mild sneer at the world.
