Pin-up Birds

After the last weeks worth of bird posts, I finally got around to making the CD calendar for my Oma which I've titled "2007 - Birds Down Under". I reckon she'll love it, both for the excellent bird photos (tootin my own horn, I know!) and the fact that I made it for her (which makes me feel like a small kid for some reason!)

I started making these calendars last year when I got tired of staring at the bland photos on my desk calendar. Screw that, my shots are more interesting! Plus I like making stuff, and despite working in Quark & InDesign all day long at the ol 'day job', it's still fun to do my own projects in the evening. And I never stop getting a kick out of seeing my work in print.
