Sad

Off the side of the road on our way back from the Riverland sat this forlorn old truck. The clouds were looking ominous, and I grabbed what I thought was an excellent shot, nice and low with the truck in the foreground and the mass of clouds stretching off into the distance. But the camera was either metering on the sky making the truck was an uninteresting shillouette, or metering on the truck making the sky a washed-out solid of white! My external flash might have helped, but it wasn't handy. - Anyway, this one came out quite well, so while I was a bit bummed/sad the other shot didn't work I'm happy with this. - Though I did chuckle at the irony of this sad little truck being stuck imobile beside the highway as the new trucks screamed by. You can almost see the little frown on his face!
