Victoria’s Xmas
Sorry the updates over the kristmas period are a little sporadic. It's well-earned down time for me so I'm allowing myself some latitude here. Hope you understand.
Since I got my 400D and my wide-angle I've often been tempted to revisit some of my previous locations with my new equipment in hand. Sometimes it's because I genuinely want to re-capture the scene with the better equipment (at the very least for myself), and sometimes it's because I feel I'm running out of local locations (a constant frustration of late!). My personal rule is that revisits are okay, as long as they bring something new to the shot; if it's not a different shot I really try to resist posting it. (And interestingly enough, sometimes the shots I try to recreate with the new equipment, don't always come out better than they did with my G3!)
One of my favourite shots, and one which I've actually already revisited is Victoria's Secret, but I'm going to post this second revisit because it's a seasonal shot. See, the fountain lights are usually white, but I think they've added some red bulbs to the lighting because it's kristmas. And since I was there the other evening anyway (the bah-humbug tree is beside the fountain) I snapped off some more shots between the numerous families with brats-in-tow got in the way.
