A lot of the birds on my walk in the Hills were too fast or too far away for me to get enough shots to choose from. However this White-faced Heron was quite content to perch and stay nice and still, provided I kept my distance. - In fact, he was so still I took about 25 shots at leisure, walked to the end of the trail and returned to find him in the same spot. So I took about another 30 shots! Mostly he just stared at me, but when I tried to move too close he eyed me curiously, gauging whether I was too close for comfort or not.
