All Pole, No Floodlight
At work the other week, MM was working on a brochure for the Corporate Facilities at one of the local sports stadiums. She needed a floodlight picture, but couldn't find any that matched the specific ones at the stadium in question. No problem, I said, I'll grab some shots this weekend.
Now, I didn't want them lit up at night because I knew I'd never be able to meter them properly, so I went round about sunset in the hopes I'd get some nice warm lighting and we could tweak things from there.
Course, what I didn't really think about was that floodlights usually face towards the grassy area, and since I had neither ticket nor arranged entry I was going to be shit out of luck in getting a nice front-on shot! Oh well, good intentions and all. - This is the best I came away with... all pole and no floodlight!
