This is the train that almost caught me by surprise when it unexpectedly rumbled past as I stood not 6 feet from the tracks. I expected the driver to honk me or phone-in that someone was wandering too close to the tracks, but no one bothered me so that was cool.

This train actually travels the height of the continent, about 3,000km, in a leisurely 48 hours. It's definitely about the journey, not the destination on that trip!
