Harley Worth It
As I mentioned before, I rented a Harley in Vegas. It was a nice 1500cc Fatboy, and it makes for a good story ("Hey, guess what I did?!") but to be honest it wasn't the deep rumbling beast of my boyhood dreams. I mean, it was definitely pretty cool cruising through the desert at 70mph, and off the lights I could race up the gears leaving everyone in my dust ... but any big bike will give you those things. So based on my 24hrs of Harley and based on the couple of Yamaha cruisers I've owned or rented, I'd be just as happy with a big Yamaha. May not have the caché of the ol' HD but until money isn't an object the "poor man's Harley" will do me just fine thanks!
Oh, and my framing on this one bugs me. It's just off-center, but the sun was blinding and my screen was impossible to see.
