You know, it's the same every night... I wait till the last minute to post a photo (which is usually way past my bedtime anyway) and then I'm too lazy/tired to write my blurb. So yet again it's another 'to come' message. Sorry.

Updated 08-09-06:: A few days before H & I flew to Vegas we realised that while we left here on a Monday, had a 10 hour flight to Tokyo, a 22 hour stop-over and then a 10 hour flight to Vegas we did not actually arrive on Wednesday morning (ie 42 hours from Monday) but Tuesday (Tuesday Tokyo and Tuesday Vegas) all thanks to a little thing called the international date line. Right! Shit, we'd only booked our hotel from the Wednesday coz all of H's friends were arriving on Wednesday. But thankfully Vegas is never short of rooms, so all was not lost.

So we arrived at 10am in Vegas, rented a car, checked in to our hotel and promptly passed out from jetlag, only to wake up with just a couple of hours of daylight left. Not wanting to waste the day we zoomed off to the Hoover Dam and while H opted to stay in the aircon of the car and not experience the terrifying heights of the dam, I strolled across and back, marvelling at the art-deco feel of it.

This is one of the three four towers that sit behind the dam. I'm sure they do something terribly important, but since I didn't take the damn tour I can't enlighten you.
