Another from the Experience Music Project in Seattle, this time of the 'bead-blasted gold' stainless steel side... though it's not your typical side of a building, most definitely more fluid than that. - It reminds me of a sheet billowing in the wind and considering it's made from metal the 'Sheet Metal' title seemed apt. (I suppose I could slip in a reference to sheet music, but that might be ruining a good thing.)

In other news, Detour is one year old today! Yay! I'm a bit disappointed I don't have the full 365 posts under my belt (more like 331) but that's just the way it goes I guess. Traffic has been steadily increasing over the year with a June 2006 high of 2,380 unique visitors and an August 2006 high of 3,936 visits. The comments from everyone are really encouraging, so keep em coming, and thank you! (Spam comments are a constant pain in the ass but I highly recommend Spam Karma.) After much sitting on the sideline, I finally submitted Detour for VFXY syndication in mid July 2006 and was accepted! I was terribly proud! I was Coolstop's Best of the Cool Daily Pick for 05 Aug 06 (my parents would be proud!). And lastly, my most stolen image was Turntabl1sm, but now hotlink protection is in place I've no idea who it ripping off my stuff... oh well, price of being online I guess.
