One place I used to like going to in Vancouver was Jupiter's Cafe, a cozy lounge bar that always had a good buzz on the weekends. And despite the fact that I was suffering from a touch of food poisoning I thought it'd be a cool place to take H to on the last night of our trip. - But over time things change, and Jupiter's Cafe was no exception.

Thought still a cosy lounge bar, it seemed mid-week karaoke was the current vibe and after a handful of tone-deaf renditions we made a hasty retreat. Nostalgia just ain't what it used to be!
