After Seattle H&I jumped on a Greyhound and headed up to my old stomping ground; Vancouver. It was weird to be back there, the familiar seen with fresh eyes.

We headed up to Whistler, soon the venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics. I'd been to Whistler a few times before, but never in the summer. No snow, no point I thought. But I have to say snow or not, the mountain scenery is fantastic!

As we waited to take the gondola (read cable-car) down to the base of the mountain I spotted a row of 3 or four Canadian flags madly fluttering in the breeze.
