Needled
After NYC we flew to Seattle on what was my all-time worst flight ever! Mr Garlic-man beside me was stinky enough, but his total domination of the armrest was down-right arrogant. And then, to make an uncomfortable situation worse the aircon was set to 'light perspire' so for 6 hours me and 150 of my closest strangers sat stuck to our seats, and I'm not talking about the in-flight movie. Continental, you suck.
Anyway, on to Seattle.
This is the Space Needle, the Seattle landmark that I've seen many a time in person and on TV, but always resisted the needless ascent of. Until now. - I figured I might as well check out whether Seattle from 520 feet was any different to the handful of other cities I've viewed from various tall structures. And the big surprise was; no, not really. To be honest, the best part was the cynical humour of the lift attendants so save your cash for another tourist trap.
