Puss in Boots & Fishnets

Still on my night-time drive from last night, I came across this sex shop which really reminded me of Turned On, only better simply because of the name! But this time I thought I'd check with the owner first, to avoid any issues. So in I walked...

"Heya man, you wouldn't mind if I took a few shots of your sign would you?" I asked as I held my camera up.
"Why?" he said as he frowned.
"Ah just personal photography. Coz neon's cool. You know..."
"Not for anything untoward is it?" he asked.
"Nah, jeeze, not at all!" I said as I frowned back at him with a bemused smile.
"Alright then," he said.

It wasn't until I was back outside setting up my tripod that I thought about his response. 'Untoward'? Struck me as a little strange, considering the shop name! (Then again, perhaps he was checking if I was going to use it against the shop, you know get all righteous and religious on him. Fuck that! Sex shops are great!)

Anyway, this neon sign had a grate in front of it (for protection I guess) which I thought might interfere with the shot, but then when I thought about it some more... it reminded me of fishnets. Which totally suited the context!

Now, I was going to call this shot 'Pink Pussy' in the hopes that it might give my stats a bit of a bump... but I liked the fishnet angle more and when Puss in Boots popped into my head it was a done deal.
