Lava Lamp

I grabbed this shot on another of my night-time drives. This time I went out without any destination in mind, just drove off in no particular direction, and then from neighbourhood to neighbourhood. I think by the end of the night I'd covered about 75km.

So I was driving down the main street of one of the suburbs, all the shops were closed, the restaurants were winding down after the late dinner crowd, and out of the corner of my eye I spotted this shop with a warm orange glow. I was driving by so I didn't rally get to see it properly so I parked down a side street and walked back to check it out. - Turns out it was a hairdressers (or is 'Salon' the correct term these days?) which makes sense with those big pictures on the wall.

I've called this shot Lava Lamp because that's what the light-fixture looks like to me. One big upside-down blob from a lava lamp, ready to float down from the ceiling.
