This is what I pulled over for the other day when I was driving around town. It's an old chimney, or smoke-stack (what's the difference?!) which the plaque declares used to be a rubbish incinerator. Must have been historical rubbish i guess.

I don't mind these old chimneys, but this one seems every so slightly out of place amongst the new, overly-expensive and crowded shoe boxes (townhouses) now surrounding it.
