Dead-End Bridge

Another from my Port wander. I actually stopped to grab a shot of the building in the bottom right corner of this shot, but as I parked I noticed this weathered gang-way. When I took a closer look I noticed it was most certainly long out of use, but remained standing. It struck me as interesting, since it was a pathway to some long since ended shipping. Loading vehicles on to a ship? Vehicles unloading cargo? Dunno. Some local could probably tell you, but the few odd fishermen didn't look too chatty.

Anyway, now that I look at the shot, I notice the colours, the brown rusting steel, with the grass slowly taking root. And the perspective lines, something about them just draws your eyes up the ramp. I like it.
