Riverbank Prom
Once I'd taken what I could in town, I wandered down to get a night-time photo of Fractal Mandala, the shot I'd wanted for a while. It's at the end of what's called "The Riverbank Promenade", which I'm sure I've been down to a few times before, but I guess never at night. I was pleasantly surprised to find it nicely lit up! I love it when modern architecture and functionality work together to give visually appealing public spaces like this!
If you look in this shot, you can see the Greaseballs in the fore-ground. Beyond that is Conventional (the big building in the background), and if you look down the line of street-lights, just to the right of the last one is Fractal Mandala.
Start the year right with a designer Detour calendar. January 09 and February 09 now available.
