Five Star
Neon sign in the window of a small bakery in the office end of town.
When I shot this sign, I zoomed in and didn't get any over-all perspective shots, nothing that would provide some scale to what you see or setting for the scene. I puzzled over this when I was processing the shot, but came to the conclusion that when I'm photographing neon, sometimes it's not the scene but the sign I want to capture. Sometimes the sign will be cool, and sometimes a little more ordinary. But in general I think neon signs are interesting because they glow, and because of the way they're made; the weave of glass that makes up the letters.
So enjoy my neon series, and maybe you'll see more of your own in your travels.
