Autumn Fire

It's only been in the last week, maybe two... but there's been a subtle change in the weather. Summer is bidding us a good-day and taking it's leave, gracefully exiting as the segueway of Autumn paces us for the seemingly interminable winter that will once again claim us for it's own.

On my weekend walk in the botanic gardens I came across this fantastic half-dressed tree, with it's remaining leaves a fiery glow, and it made me remember the romanticism in the changing seasons. - I'm definitely a summer person, but I have to admit even I look forward to cozy winter evenings by the fire.
