After they'd stopped serving, shut the doors, and the EUbar staff sat down to have their own drinks, H & I took our cue, and made our way out. But not before I took my time to grab a few shots of my own.

I wonder if I had taken the time to line up the barstools, would it have been a better shot? More composed perhaps, but missing that organic quality.

As I was processing this shot, it reminded me of my own stint as a bartender in the big smoke. My bar was marble too, but on the surface, not the front. - It was a hard job at first, but that's coz I bluffed my way in like everyone else. Though by the end I was pulling 18 hour shifts and nothing phased me. Break a glass in the ice? All changed in less than five minutes. Slashed finger open, likely needed stitches? Back serving in 15 minutes. Make an extra drink by mistake? Hide it and enjoy in a few minutes. Resident drug-dealer calls your name? Serve him his drink without missing a beat!
