Shocked

Shocked

19 Feb 2006

Continuing the street art trend of the last few days, here's an example of an artist taking the time to put up even the smallest of pieces.

This is from a pedestrian walk-way in the city that cuts from one street to another, skirting a multi-story car park and channelling you thru an alley. Outside of office hours the place is dead, and well hidden from view, so it tends to get constantly bombed by graffiti, paste-ups and stencils. Most of the work is obvious in placement and varies in size. Then there was this little piece. Just a quick sticker, I know, but in an non-obvious place so you'd miss it if you weren't looking out for stuff.

I really liked the placement, the character seems as if he's behind bars.
