While wandering round the big smoke on our most recent trip we thought we'd give the local tall building Observation Deck tourist-trap thing a whirl. But when we got there, we decided the cost just wasn't worth it. I think the choice in my mind was a few good beers, or an ear popping elevator trip. Not that ear popping bothers me, but beer is beer after-all. Besides, I've been up enough tall buildings, aerial masts, spires, and twin plane targets that I've come to the conclusion that all cities look pretty much the same when reduced to ant-farm proportions.

Anyway, sometimes the view from below is good enough for me. And free.
