This is classic me.

I went to a small artist exhibition this evening, actually one of the street artists that I first noticed way back when. (The exhibition was small, and all so-so to be honest.) I took some general shots, but knew they were nothing special.

As I left the place, walking down the stairs, I spotted this light. Something about the banality of it, and the warm glow, made me take a few shots.

I love putting the normal and banal in an artistic light (pun intended).
