I think the combination of focus and colour makes this an interesting shot. The pink-white petals are reaching up to the lens, so the shallow depth of field causes them to be soft. However, the purple flower-head is sharp, suddenly revealing the little orange parts of the flower. All contrasted against the deep green background. - Something about it draws me in, keeps me looking around the photo.

Anyway, it was taken on the same winery tour as Wine Rack, Wheels and Bedford.
