The Palais

H's Mum J was coming up to 50, so it was time for a party. J's a good bird so H&I were happy to take care of the invites and to scope out some possible venues. J suggested The Palais, an art-deco place I think she used to go to when she was younger, which fitted the bill nicely.

J didn't want presents so come the day-of, our surprise for her was a nice limo, which we all piled into and got driven in 'style' to the dinner.

It was a fairly small family affair, bout 20 or so of us, which was what J wanted. Not a bad little night actually.
