On another of my yearly pilgrimages to a design conference I thought about doing a bit of a photodiary of the trip, and taking at least one photo an hour. Something that showed what we were up to, where we'd gone, etc. - We left earlish one morning, and in my bleary-eyed morning state completely forgot about the photo-plan. The first hourly shot would have been easy; the cab-ride to the airport. But alas I forgot, and so I felt the mini-project was doomed from the start. All or nothing, I chose to try for the next trip.

Anyway, this is as we were boarding the plane, waiting for the bottle-neck of people to find their seats and let us in. The length of the plane stretched out in front of us as we waited at the top of the stairs looked interesting, but it was a gloomy day and I wasn't sure it'd turn out. (Photoshop to the rescue, with some tweaking of levels, curves and saturation and the colours really popped out.)

I still find it strange that some airports have you walk across the tarmac and up the mobile stairs as is the case at ours. Feels somehow 'old school'.
