Reach for the Stars

Okay, yet more event photography. This was probably the most fun I had at an event and the first time I had the backstage pass that let me everywhere, from on stage, to backstage, to the sound booth. Basically I tried my luck everywhere, and if I came up against any security, one wave of the magic pass got me through! I hadn't managed to get a pass for H, so poor her got stuck waiting at the side for me while I ran around getting cool shots, too intoxicated to notice she was getting rather bored! (I got back to her as soon as I clued in!)

This shot is from the same event as Blissed Raver. The other side of the stage, and about 2 hours later. - Again, this was a crowd shot that I took a random chance on. I was trying to get the coloured lights on the crowd, but one of the strobes went off and while it lit the background right up, it also burning the foreground dancer right out. But damn if it didn't create a fantastic effect!
