Street Art, it's there if you look for it. And if you look around enough you'll start to notice the style of the artists. There were two artists whose work I noticed most when I first started seeing street art. This is one of them.

The details of the person behind these stickers, the mystery of why they did it, the when and where they stuck them, had me curious but I liked not knowing. I liked hunting for the pieces, and 'collecting' photos of them. Then one day, H & I were at a cool little bar and there on the wall was hanging a large canvas version of the style. H asked about it and the bartender said it was N, mentioning he worked at another bar.

So a few weeks later we're at the other bar and H finds out which one is N. But I didn't want to talk to him, I actually didn't even want to know who he was, I wanted to stay in the dark. Besides, what the hell am I going to say?

Then, a few weeks later again, we're back in the bar and I'd snuck in a bottle of wine. Someone goes around clearing the tables and immediately pounces on our bottle and is about to give us a hard time (rightfully so) for bringing in our own booze, when I realise it's N. Somehow I manage to introduce myself, mention that I'd seen his work around town, liked it, and we have a chat about that! He even ended up giving me an invite to a small exhibition he was having the following week, and then gave back the bottle of wine! Kinda cool!

Anyway, I went along to the small exhibition, and he turned out to be a fairly normal laid back kinda guy. Met some other street artists and ended up doing some work with them, but more on that in another post.
