At one stage I lived in a different city from H, for a while. Course, I came back to visit and on one of those trips she had a birthday so as a little treat for both of us, I rented a motorcycle for 24 hours and we zoomed around on this big 1,300cc cruiser. Great fun! We drove an hour south for dinner, just cause we could, and coz the road was nice and curvy! Then late that night we drove around town, always one of my favourite things to do, cruising through the night air. We even drove all the way to the end of the pier, a small pedestrian pier I might add, because "I don't wanna park!".

Again, I'd borrowed my friends camera and as we drove by the cathedral I thought I'd take a shot of it all lit up. So I pulled over, and while poor H got a bit chilly I walked around looking for a good angle. I never knew there was this cross in the park across the road, even though it was lit up as well, and when I tried to get it into frame I suddenly discovered the path I didn't know was there either, had marble side stones reflecting the light. All the elements slotted together and the perspective lined up just right. One of my earlier cool shots.
