Another year, another birthday. - Went out to dinner with a bunch of friends for some good German food and much good German beer. Beer which came in big heavy STEINS that demanded a $20 deposit to cross the bar, before any beer even touched their sides!

Afterwards we returned to town, and found refuge in one of the typical pubs/hotels, but this one had an almost funky edge; colourful corners, intricate starlights, and some excellent Stout on tap.
